My toucan poster

My learning intention:identify key words which when combined with prior knowledge, will help with understanding.

Kia ora and welcome back to my blog! Today I am sharing with you about my toucan learning. I hope you enjoy it and learn something new.
For our reading we read an article about the toucan. We had to create a poster about the key words and points in the story. Here is the link to my poster. Toucan poster

Did you know that a Toucans beak is not heavy, instead hollow and light?

Thank you for reading!!!!

  1. Hi Elsha
You have provided a lot of informative facts about toucans, well done. I found it funny that they pass fruit to each other to show off their bills! They are one of the most colourful birds though so why not show off! What did you find the most interesting fact to be?

  2. Hey Katrina! Thanks for commenting!
I found that the most interesting fact was that their beak was so big but it wasn't at all that heavy!

  5. Hi Elsha,

Great job creating this awesome poster. I am super impressed that you made that toucan from scratch on Google Drawings. When we are back at school I think that I will get some lessons from you.

I love that you put in the learning goal and an explanation about the task. Your poster has some really informative information about toucans. i didn't know that their beaks were hollow. They look really heavy.

What was the most interesting fact you found out about toucans?
